The Eldar Chronicles

Created by Jason Dubour

Anvilore, Kingdom of the Terrans
Found within the western parts of the Keylocke Mountains, Anvilore is a gathering place for craftsmen, smiths, and miners. Known for its hospitality and ferocity, Anvilore is a fortified kingdom, home to a fierce, strong, and stubborn race.
The Mithral Fortress
Surrounding the entire kingdom, the Mithral Fortress was built to encase and protect the Terrans from any and all invaders. It has a single, enormous gate that is so well defended a rat could not sneak past. Deep within the fortress are the Forge Knights, the Terran guard that watches over Anvilore. Named for the impenetrable material from which it was built, the Mithral Fortress has not been breached by any outside force since the day it was built.
Orichalcum Castle
Hewn from the very mountain itself, Orichalcum Castle stands as a testament to the skill and craftsmanship of the Terrans, its towers glistening with a bronze gleam. Armed to the teeth with patrolling soldiers, hardened steel cannons and catapults, and layers of protective enchantments, this castle can withstand blockade for decades.
Petralan
Petralan is the capital city of Anvilore, and home to artisans and sculptors. In the center square there is a large statue depicting the glory of the Terrans; a strong, burly man with muscles gripping a large hammer in his hands, ready to strike down upon the anvil at his feet. This city is well guarded, and also home to a majority of the kingdom's upper-class nobleman.
Hollowstone
This small Terran city is known for its brilliant architects and craftsmen. Here all sorts of things are crafted and constructed, ranging from tools, weapons, furniture, and everyday materials to large buildings, sculptures, and monuments. Anvilore's farmers make use of the rocky terrain to build automated terraces, and they raise animals such as mountain goats, cattle, and other earthly creatures.
Irona
Irona is a medium sized city. It's economy is based around magic and the transformation of materials. Many of the kingdom's mages live here, and others make pilgrimages to visit the Iron Cathedral, where the Terran mages study, teach, and practice magic. At the top of the cathedral lies the Citadel, where bells crafted by the Terrans ring out for all to hear.
Hammertol
This large city was built as a center of commerce and trade. The miners have constructed many entrances into the mountains. Honey-combed with long tunnels and massive mines, the Terrans excavate iron, gold, stone, and other natural resources. Unfortunately, most of the tunnels they've built have become interconnected with passageways leading to Erias, a lost city of the Terrans and now a city of Algran, the kingdom of the Uldra. Erias lies on the northwestern slopes of the mountains. Because of this, the Terrans are on a constant look out to keep the Uldra out of their mines. There are occasional skirmishes where Uldra troops sneak in and try to overtake a mine, but the Terrans have been able to keep them at bay.
Runestead
Runestead was built as a small city in which the Terran smiths could forge in peace. All of the Terran Smith Masters have made their home here. Built in the center of the city lies the Ember Forge. The Ember Forge contains powerful magic. It is here that the Terran Smith Masters not only forge mystical items, but they also teach future generations of smiths. Legends say the Ember Forge was the first thing the Terrans built.
Coretalis
Coretalis is the home of the Vault. An immense steel fortress, the Vault is where all the Terrans' wealth lies stored safely from prying eyes. In times of desperation and struggle, the Terrans have been known to share their wealth with the people, but never with other kingdoms. There are rumors that the Vault houses not than just treasure, but also many magical secrets the Terrans have deemed too dangerous for anyone to use.
