Ghouldan, Kingdom of the Gremlins

Ghouldan is more like a group of small settlements rather than a kingdom. Located in the bowels of Vaegar Swamp, this kingdom is home to the Gremlins. Built over the ruins of the Dragon’s homeland, the area was actually once a lush, green forest. However, due to magical contamination, the area was transformed into a swamp over a long period of time. The rough landscape and poor soil make farming an impossibility. The swampland is home to many dangerous creatures. The most threatening ones have burrowed into the deepest reaches of the swamp.

Bogrell

The northern city of Ghouldan. Built along the northern border of the swamp, Bogrell is known for excavating random items from the nearby ruins. They often tinker with what they find to create crude weapons and other materials. Any useless junk is traded off for meat and other resources  from the neighboring Gremlin cities. The Gremlins from Bogrell are known for hunting and raiding groups of weak, unarmed travelers. They will steal and consume everything  until there is no trace left. Most of the buildings are broken ruin structures adapted to the Gremlins' needs.

Izdor

Built to the southwest near the Byrn River, Izdor is not far from the Spire Isles to the south. Most Gremlins do not leave the swamp if they can help it, but the Gremlins of Izdor are bolder than the rest. They often travel out to the islands and catch fish using primitive spears and other fishing techniques. The surrounding area of the city is pockmarked with hills and marshy pools, making it difficult to travel through. The Gremlins' dwellings are burrows inside the hills, allowing the Gremlins to hide from invaders rather than fight. The natural marshy pools evaporate easily in the swamp's climate, creating large clouds of mist that never dissipate. The mist provides an excellent advantage over attackers, as the Gremlins can see through the mist with ease.

Grath

Grath is in the southeast of Vaegar Swamp, and is easily the smallest of all the Gremlin cities. Most of the Gremlins here live in hovels and hollowed hills. The landscape is much more marshy than in other areas, covered in deep pools of mud and water. To traverse the area safely, the Gremlins constructed rope bridges across the tops of their dwellings and the surrounding hills. These Gremlins are smarter than others, and have learned how to harness the watery, marshy landscape to grow rare plants. The will trade the roots, herbs, and other plants they grow in exchange for meat and fish. They never leave the city, and only attack if invaders get too close. Some of the most dangerous plants in Eldar can be found here, including the Serpin Root, which is used as a potent poison, and the Laukr plant, which releases powerful oils used for all sorts of things.
