The Eldar Chronicles

Created by Jason Dubour

Arbor, Kingdom of the Sylvans
Hidden away within Verum Forest, Arbor is a place filled with natural beauty and ancient knowledge.
It is home to many artisans and scholars.
Graythorn Castle
The castle itself is a natural wonder. Born from the fusion of trees into a single lifeform, the entire castle is covered in rich bark and hardened roots. It's towers are draped in vines, thorns, and leaves that change with the seasons. Vines hanging from the tree branches can be used to swing about, while rope bridges extend between towers and platforms. Enchantments have been placed upon it to protect it from invasion and natural disasters like wildfires.
Oakwood
Oakwood is the capital of Arbor, and a city that seems to glow with an unnatural luster. Known all over the lands for its most famous attraction, the Golden Oak Tavern, Oakwood boasts the best services in Eldar. Full of life, Oakwood is a place of peace and harmony. Like all other Sylvan cities, the buildings are made out of hollow trees and twisted roots. It is widely known for its wine, beer, and mead markets.
Myrkvoir
Myrkvoir is the home of the Sylvan Academy of Magic. It is here that Sylvan masters teach younglings the fundamentals of Magic. The academy also offers a complete history of the Sylvan race, Eldar itself, and even ancient stories of the Dragaré. Myrkvoir is also the established base of operations for the Azalea Knights. Its marketplace is centered around raising livestock for meat, milk, wool, and other useful materials.
Willowvale
Willowvale is known all across Eldar for its scholars who study the lost languages and ancient runes. Many of the Sylvan scholars find the written forms of the ancient languages to be interesting. They believe there was once a point in history when these written languages were actually spoken aloud. They are even studying a language that they believe was spoken by all the races, which they call Eldarian. The city's coastal fishing market is one of the largest in Eldar, and reveals many of the Eastern Sea's creatures.

Havenroot
Havenroot lies in the northwestern area of Verum Forest. It is home to the Grand Library, the largest library in Eldar. It contains knowledge on every subject there is to know. The library was built numerous years ago, and many believe that its walls hide dark secrets long forgotten. Books literally fly off the shelves! The entire library is enchanted with all kinds of spells, and there are many secrets to be found within its hallowed halls. The city is well known for its poets and writers.

Vidra
Along the southeast coast lies the city of Vidra. Lush and beautiful, Vidra has made quite a reputation for itself as a paradise. Here caretakers and gardeners grow the strangest and rarest flowers and plants in all of Eldar. Most are used for herbs and spices. There are even some flowers, like the Moondew Mist Rose, Aurora Lilies, and Bowthorns, that are used for enchantments and potions. A majority of the kingdom's crops and food come from Vidra.
