The Eldar Chronicles

Created by Jason Dubour

Velora, Kingdom of the Fae
This is the smallest kingdom in Eldar. It is a kingdom hidden and protected by powerful magic. Built within the depths of Raselle Forest, no soul is allowed to enter the kingdom without permission from the Queen. Magic seems to flow through the kingdom like blood. Its agriculture is self-sustaining; that is, everything the kingdom needs can be found within the forest itself. It has no real economy other than a trading system between the kingdom’s own cities. Not much contact is made with other kingdoms.
Aryendel Castle
Built atop a forest hill, the castle itself is rather small. Perhaps the smallest castle ever built, its only defenses are intricately woven spells. More a mansion than a castle, this place was designed for royalty. Some of the rooms attach to towers and sections built into treetops and large chunks of overgrown roots. There are no outer walls or moats or any real physical defenses.
Aynor
The capital city of Velora. Built outside Aryendel Castle, this city is neither large nor small. Pocketed with small farms and cottages to the south and larger mansions to the north, the people live isolated lives. There is not much in regards to economy. Most of it is based around agriculture and crafting. Its citizens are a mixture of nobility and peasants. The small military power the kingdom does have, the Aether Knights, have their main headquarters here.
Serith
The smallest city of Velora. It is dedicated to peace and preservation. Most of the oldest Fae live here. An oddity, the city is filled with fortune tellers, mages, and some of the wisest beings in all of Eldar. If you ever had questions to which you did not have the answers, Serith is the city to visit. Its library contains books on rare topics, and most of the Fae have answers to ancient questions.
Elinar
The southernmost city of Velora, a majority of all the kingdom’s agricultural resources and crafting materials are harvested here. Such materials include lumber, stones, crops, water, and even domesticated animals. Because of the sheer number of materials, the majority of the kingdom’s population have moved here. The city is pockmarked with little streams, and most of the citizens homes are built using the natural landscape, like hills, trees, and mossy boulders.
